Tropics Update: Hurricane Helene expected to rapidly intensify before Florida landfall

Hurricane Helene is expected to move over an area with very warm, deep water which will allow it to rapidly intensify, and the National Hurricane Center is now predicting that this storm could become a category four, with winds up to 130mph before it makes landfall late Thursday night in the panhandle / Big Bend area of Florida.

  1. I noticed that the news channels were not telling of a hurricane earlier than today.
    "In2 Thin Air" whose name is Brian was doing his videos at least half a week ago telling about this hurricane that could be as bad as a 4 or 5 when it hits the Florida coast.๐Ÿ˜ฎ
    HE IS GOOD๐ŸŽ‰โค๐ŸŽ‰
    P.S. even the weather channel on TV was saying yesterday that it was a tropical depression, hadn’t even named it a hurricane.
    Brian has been talking about it being a huge hurricane for days and days.๐Ÿ˜ฎ

    How can people genuinely get ready for a hurricane if they’re not sending out an alarm ๐Ÿšจ

  3. Why does it sound to me that this A Hole is depressed that it was stuck over ocean and then not hitting land in causing great destruction and loss of life? These People are Vile and Dagusting.

  5. I’m from Tallahassee and we can’t take a direct hit like that. All the trees are going to cause massive damage.

  6. I was srationed at then Ft. Benning in 1995 when Opal hit the gulf coast near Destin. It still had hurricane force winds all the way north past Ft. Benning so this one looks like it could do the same.

  10. Itโ€™s crazy. To me, it seems like the perfect storm. From its start point, moving between islands then throughout so much water, of course to only gain intensity. I think Iโ€™m mostly in awe how it seems to have moved in between islands.
