πŸ‘‰ At Consumer Buddy, we’ve researched the Budget 4K TVs on the Market saving you time and money so you can make an informed buying decision.

Hey guys, Taylor here with another video. Now if you’re interested in getting a 4k TV, they can be a huge upgrade to your standard SD TVs. However 4k can be very expensive. That’s why today we’re going to be breaking down a list of some of the best budget 4k TVs you can buy and going through some of the benefits and features of each to see which might be right for you in your particular situation. Now, as always, I will leave links to each of these products in the description below. So you can do a little bit of your own research. And if I happen to find any discounts, deals or coupon codes, I’ll drop those down below for you as well. So first up, we have the best overall budget TV, and that’s going to be the high sense h eight G. Now this is a great VA panel model that performs well in nearly every type of content. It’s got a great high contrast ratio. Plus it has a full array of local dimming that results in deep blacks, and it has a better darkroom viewing experience. Also, if you do have a bright room, this has good visibility and decent reflection handling. Now this one is definitely best viewed straight on. Because of that VA panel, the viewing angles are going to be pretty narrow. But if the TV is the center of your living room, it won’t be a problem. This one also has minimal motion blur and quick response time. There’s also this really great black frame insertion feature. Also low frame rate content, like movies doesn’t stutter much. And it can remove clutter from 24 p sources and native apps. Also the input lag here is extremely low. But just note it doesn’t support any variable refresh rate technology. It also doesn’t have any HDMI 2.1 ports. So it might not be a great option for those of you interested in the latest gaming consoles. This one is an Android TV. So there’s lots of apps to use, and it’s very user friendly as well. You can even get voice control with this one through Google Assistant. So guys, if you are just looking for the best overall budget TV, definitely check out the high sense h ag. Next up we have the best value for TV and that’s going to be the TCL 65 s 535. The TCL five series is a mid range option. And the 65 inch model delivers good quality performance with a budget friendly price tag. This one does use a VA panel and has one of the highest contrast ratios of any LED TVs we’ve tested. That means you’re going to get great deep inky blacks, it’s also going to look fantastic in a dark room. This one is less suited to well lit rooms because it doesn’t get super bright but if you don’t have sunlight directly on it, it should handle reflections quite well. This one has a fast response time as well and includes black frame insertion… ran out of the 5k characters limit, sorry guys.

  1. I knew I did not want to spend an insane amount of money on our new TV, so the big boys (LG, Sony, Samsung) were out the window! But I also did not want something that was extremely cheap, and lacking in features such as the TCL Class 4 Series. So I ended up with the Vizio M7, which I think is the most value for your buck. Firstly, it’s still under the magical $1000 mark, which is great. But even though it’s under that mark, it still has a lot of bells and whistles like Dolby Vision, VRR, and AMD Freesync. And here’s the kicker – I’m not even a gamer! I haven’t bought a console since PS2, but I still enjoy this TV a lot. The colors look really vibrant and bright! I highly recommend this to someone who does not spend over a grand but still looking for the best TV there is!

  2. Hi! Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I have to ask it: Does Hisense have Apple Airplay since it’s Android TV?

  4. The fact that you can get a 4K TV for under $500 is totally bizarre for me, yet that’s exactly what the TCL 4 Series does. Now for that price, you’re not going to get a lot of fancy features – this is a no-frills TV. You’re not getting HDMI 2.1, but you wouldn’t need to anyway since the native refresh rate is 60 Hz. I wasn’t planning on using this for gaming, so I wasn’t bothered really.

  5. I like the fact that TCL offers Android TV as an alternative because I really don’t like using Roku. I’m pretty happy with using Android TV, thank you very much! Just wanted to let everybody know that you do not HAVE to commit to Roku because I almost ordered the TCL 4 Series with built-in Roku! I found out that you can also get the same TV but with Android TV, at the last minute!

  6. At first, I was a bit skeptical about the Vizio M7 since this was a TV that advertised itself as a gaming TV but did not support 4K at 120 Hz (you’re getting 60 Hz, no matter how much Vizio tries to dodge around this question). However, Vizio does an excellent job. Freesync and VRR really make you feel like you’re playing at 120 Hz even though you’re not. The tech does its job, no questions asked. Most games are not going to support 120 Hz for a while anyway, so I’m pretty happy with my Vizio in the end!

  7. How’s the Smartcast system that comes with Vizio? Can you manually download apps? I want to download a VPN to unblock Netflix!

  8. Considering the prices of all the other TVs in this list, Hisense H8 is definitely a steal. It has Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos and it’s 4K for less than $600! What a time to be alive!

  9. Got the H8G as a second TV. As we already have a Sony OLED, we did not need another expensive TV. However, I have to say this holds its own against the Sony OLED. It can’t compete with OLED, of course, but it’s still quite crisp. The main attraction was Dolby Vision, HDR is looking great. One thing that surprised me was the quality of the speakers. We were discussing with the wife whether we should get a soundbar with our purchase or not, we decided to try it out first. We’re so glad about our decision, as built-in speakers are above average, which is good enough for me. Great budget option!

  10. I got the TCL 4 Series as a second TV in the kitchen as we already have an OLED in our living room. I was just looking for an inexpensive TV I could watch while eating my cereal, so my expectations were not high at all. In the end, I’m pretty pleased with what I’ve ended up with. For under 300 bucks, I got a 4K TV that comes with all the streaming apps that you could ask for. Upscaling works pretty well too. Not a huge fan of the Roku, and I also don’t like the fact that when I turn on the TV, it redirects me to the Roku main menu instead of what I was watching the last time. Considering the price though, all of these are minor annoyances. This was a great and cheap addition to our house!

  11. I had a rough time deciding between TCL’s 4 Series and 5 Series. I went with the 5 Series in the end. So glad I went down this route, the extra money I spent on the 5 Series is totally worth it! First off, my friend has a 4 Series. The colors look so much sharper and the blacks look so much crisper in my 5 Series. HDR really makes a huge difference! As far as software goes, it’s the same Roku platform that performs pretty well. I’m definitely never getting another TV that does not have Dolby Vision!

  12. Can you use the TCL TVs without Roku? Can I use another platform for streaming and other apps like Amazon FireTV Stick?

  13. Vizio M7 shows us that quality gaming can be done on the cheap side, I absolutely love this TV! Most people have already mentioned the image quality, which looks great. I have a couple of annoyances though! Number one, as a gaming TV it would be nice to have Bluetooth connectivity because I don’t want to wake my wife when I’m gaming in the middle of the night! Second annoyance: not a huge fan of the Smartcast. Not that it’s not offering a lot of streaming platforms to choose from, on the contrary, it does. However, its response time is less than ideal. It lags behind most of the time. Not a huge concern, but still, annoying as heck!
