Best Smart Home Security Cameras of 2023 – 2024
Today will be a wrap up for 2023 and we will find out which are the Best Security Cameras of 2023 going on to 2024. These are the security cameras that I have tested from Eufy, Reolink, Tapo, Wyze and Ring. Other brands like Arlo, Nest, Blink and also Ring haven’t really released anything good this year.

It’s toooooo Fast and he doesn’t pick up the or has a picture representation on what he is talking about. i know less now than pushing the play button on the video. You’ll need to tell pros and cons on each product and not jump back and forth with info.
You say the first cam has “everything” but why would I even want two lenses?
Would it not be more efficient to pack a larger, nicer sensor with a zoom option then an always zoomed telephoto lens?
Recommendation for cameras for our office, need at least 3 set up with play back recording to review if any suspicious activity
Any update to this list 7 months later?
I would love to get a Black silicone skin for my eufy S340 . Help please does anyone know where I can get these
No Unifi? You’re the best tech reviewer. Hope to see more content from you
The Eufy doorbell you mentioned can be hardwired 🙂
So which cameras have no subscription that’s what I’m looking for
Which camera you recommend me to get if i want a whole setup around the house.
My concern with Eufy is that I have to wait 10 secs or so when viewing my live feeds and after a number of refresh. Sometimes, they won’t load at all. Just recently the audio is already noisy. I have a 1Gbps Internet speed and Wi-fi 6 network.
What about the prices
Thank you so much for the deep dive in this matter i have a real educated decission on my new camera i will be purchaseing
😊🎉❤
Although Eufy seems nice, they were found to be sending local video storage to their cloud servers, something that customers were led to believe was not happening. They also did not have any end-to-end encryption for their video feeds. Some time has passed since those issues were brought up, and, likely, those problems do not exist anymore, but I would be cautious with any company that appears so nonchalant about a pretty serious flaw in their product. Excuse the cliche, but here is a word of caution for potential buyers trying to save a dollar: if you aren’t paying for the product, you are the product.
When I bought my house it came with a FEIT floodlight camera. It was great, but after turning the floodlight manually one night, it stopped responding in the app and no resetting will fix it. That being said I’ve seen they are decent when contacted for support, and I probably would go that route if I had bought it, but thought I would mention it for others
Most of these cameras are the same with similar features to match up with the price point. There’s probably one manufacture making these cameras the only differences are the badging in the brand..
Can anyone tell me how much do over the door and window camera cost? I never had one so how does it work ? Do u pay monthly ?
Dude, HOW MUCH?? Not a lot of help bud
I loved my eufy with a solar but then after like three months it completely stopped working I had to return it
Good morning brother I have a question, I have an entry Gate that people like to park at or throw trash out in front of and I am looking for a camera to record 24 hours not motion, I have power and Wi-Fi at my gate, what would be the best options for me?
Eufy has MAJOR security flaws and does record your data to a cloud without your knowledge.
Im surprised lorex didnt make the list
Hi LifeHackster, I would like to congratulate you on the excellent quality of content you bring to the channel, for me the best in your field. After watching many videos I decided to exchange the old Xiaomi Cams for the Eufy S340 and the E220 respectively.
Later I will buy the homebase 3 to have local storage. The problem I see with the security of these cameras is that if they reset from outside all the recordings are erased.😒 Best Regards from Portugal
Which one is best for simple needs like watching the pets/kids indoors and a good doorbell camera? Thanks!!
Why does the 2k reolink look better then the 4k ones?
Hello I’m curious, I am trying to set up a handful of cameras inside my one bedroom apartment, running an experiment, I do not want Wireless, I want everything fully analog tethered to motion sensors, I want the feed to go to one hard drive that I can just access the footage by plugging in that hard drive to my laptop and watch it through VLC player, I want no other bells and whistles outside of the obvious audio, Does anyone have any recommendations for a possible bulk purchase to achieve this? I’m imagining it would be a total of about five cameras only, but again I want them completely in sync at all times with zero Wi-Fi or Bluetooth nonsense, no interface outside of saving the footage to a hard drive then I will then use my laptop as a screen too pick and choose what I view, doable?
I cannot find 5ghz and wpa3 security camera on the market. Anyone knows?
Sounds like Eufy has the best line of products overall
eufy 1080p max on cloud is the reason why i didnt go with them
Great video! Just wondering if there is any good options for a wire-free indoor camera? There are just blind spots that my dog goes to and there isn’t a good option to plug in a wired version.
My damn samsung cameras are no longer supported by app therefore cameras are useless smfh need new ones so im here
If it conects to wifi its junk easy to hack.hard wired harddrive no internet connection is the best
Don’t buy Eufy cameras! Horrible customer service; short term investment. You will regret it!
FYI the S350’s night vision is very sensitive. I had two and had to return both of them as the night vision completely washed out- all black. In one room my light blue bed sheets were causing a glare and in the other room it was the beige walls. Otherwise they were great cameras
Theyre all garbage. Digital IP poe cam system with an nv4 is the way to go..
A couple of years ago I was gifted two Wired Ring Floodlight Pro Security Systems. I just got around to installing one system this week. Nothing but problems for me. Inconsistent motion tracking. Either too slow or non existent half the time. I’ve been going back and forth with the motion mode and birds eye mode, according to the apps manual, but doesnt seem to work as it should. And I just came to realize that Im gonna need a paid subscription to use these two. I noticed your property seems to be pretty bare, with nothing in the way. I wonder how much if any, difference that make when testing your cameras.
Ring is trash .. I can’t wait to replace them all
thank you!
hey gd day, enjoy your vids as usual. I would like to get your recommendation on an outdoor camera that works with solar that doesnt need wifi to allow recording to Sd card?
Thank you for your reviews. Very useful. Are you able to comment on their ability to pick up a car license plate clearly? I need a camera that will watch my car in a shared car park due to previous hit and run. Thanks 😊
I just bought the Zumimall 5G wired Wi-Fi camera. I have it connected and it works good. I bought this to use as a webcam on our camper that has a different Wi-Fi network than our home network. Can i use this camera as a webcam on a different network?
great reviews and comparison. super helpful. do any of the cameras / apps have a simple geofencing function? i like the one with arlo, but not getting into subscriptions.
If only those brands where not Chinese companies 🙁 EUFY with there terrible track record and being Chinese instant avoid same as reolink.
Jackson Deborah Walker Jason Harris Barbara
Whats ur view on smart solar v380pro dual camera 😮
So is the eufy s340 the best camera out there? I cant stand ring… and want to switch
This guy is annoying
Maybe you can help me. I have a Wyze cam and Eufy cam and a google doorbell cam. The only one that works on the Google Home app is the Google doorbell cam but I’ve seen videos that everything can be added. And I’m unable to get work on either iOS or android. so frustrating ,thanks
Steer a billion miles away from blink. If you want to know why look in my reply to the @cryptoking7299 comment about his 5 blink camera system.
I have a long comment there explaining why I would steer well away from blink.
b.ullshit review .
OH awesome — did you just say that Eufy does *not* require Homebase, and that instead you could use Micro SD card??? That is good I will buy EUFY then
