Nice Video!!! Very engaging from the beginy to the end, nevertheless business and investment are the best way to make money irrespective of the pandemic😷……..
Damn, no Sony TV? What about the XK95, where does that rank?
Ive got a headache now 🙈
What is your opinion about sony x90j?
i want a 32 inch tv for my desk lol
4k trash!!! 4k garbage!!! 4k makes me vomit🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
Looking for a 43" for a budget of $400. Picture Quality is top priority. Don’t care about operating system as will be using an external device for streaming
I still think the CRT and the 1080p TVs we’re still better than 4K for many reasons the 4K seem to glitch on the films when I went on Disney plus the thing was like glitching even with HBO Paramount when you watch a cartoon it was like glitching I don’t know what the deal on that is
I think that the 4K "3D" is not really something from close view.
Great video and reviews
Don’t forget about burn in for oleds
# BPL.
Korean technology #1
I already knew all this but watched the video anyway 😂
I thought L E D meant: Lunch Eating Dog
watch us for tv art
so mini led is brighter than OLED.
I bought a base model Samsung LED 75" TV for my living room on Black Friday sale for under $500, paired it with a Samsung surround 5.1 mid range sound system with voice enhancement and Dolby Atmos and a more than powerful enough sub, all for about One G. This is to replace a seven year old Samsung 57" LED TV which I gave to my college son. Best one thousand dollar home theatre and I love it. I’m watching movies and listening to music with all the clarity and sound stage and boom that I am absolutely enjoying every bit of it. Are there better technologies out there? yes of course, and will always be. But I’m more than satisfied.
Hi there, great reviews and info. I am completely out of the loop on the latest tech on TV’s and apps etc. I watch very little TV but I do watch a fair amount of YouTube videos and some shows and occasional movies. I am looking for an easy convenient non confusing system. I am already confused about the smart TV’s versus Roku and Fire stick etc. Do many of the low to mid price Tv’s offer the blue light dimming option? Does the Roku and Firestick tv have monthly charges? What low to mid price TV’s would you recommend for longevity and clear crisp picture? thanks so much!
me watching on a 720p tv . Interesting
Thinking about how 1280×720 is called 720p, 1920×1080 is 1080p. But 3840×2160 suddenly received the name "4K"? And to top it all off, calling it 4K is rounding up an imaginary 160 pixels. That’s like calling 1080p "2K" and 720p "1.5K" but no manufacturer did that. Sure it looks better but it’s inherently a gimmick by name. Just wondering why the "K" thing started with the 2160p resolution specifically.
DONT BUY A 4K TV THEY SUCK
NOOOOOO its all the same bs that tv salesman say its always "4k is the highest quality picture you will ever see" "its super crisp" "the colors are so vibrant" STOP TRYING TO BRAINWASH ME I DO NOT LIKE THE PICTURE ITS TERRIBLE AND LOOKS BAD
The problem here is cnet has tested only a small number of models which is inexcusable for technology based website. Katzmaier hasn’t tested a number of Sony televisions such as the A90J, A80J and X95 which compete very well against the LG OLED and Samsung QLED televisions.
The A90J is arguably the best television you can buy money no object. It has what is called a heatsink behind the panel which allows the TV to dissipate heat more efficiently and hence is able to push specular highlights hard without fear of image retention.
The A80J competes with the C1 on price but has better overall video processing. The C1 is better for hardcore gamers.
The X95J competes with the QN90A and arguably has better overall PQ. Currently the X95J costs more but I suspect it will come down in price as we get deeper into the Holiday season.
No one will probably believe me but I don’t own a Sony and have no plans to do so. I just think it’s pretty blatant that cnet has their best list but hasn’t reviewed a notable part of the mid to high end television market.
*Just don’t buy an Insignia or other cheaper brand TVs*
Paying more for a Samsung or LG is worth it.
Should I get the Sony WF 1000 XM4 for $270. Or the Samsung Galaxy buds 2 for $100.
Honestly, even in 2022 1080p still looks pretty good.
Beautiful video
CNET lying through their teeth again, I see.
The Samsung QN90A is NOT the best 4K LCD TV on the market. Not even close.
It uses an IPS panel. If you know, you know.
The best 4K LCD’s on the market are the Hisense U8G, Vizio PQX-H1, and the TCL 6-Series R646, full stop.
Go check out testing reviews of each, not influencer opinions.
Looking to get a tv for gaming but the specs say hdmi 2.0(2.0b) but if I plug in a hdmi 2.1 would I still get 4k
Damn it. I just bought a Sony that did not make this list

Good video. I also go rtings myself because the have good comparisons and also clearly say who wins per tv price category
4K is the biggest scam since Christianity.
I created art screensavers so I can turn any TV into art display for free using the Youtube App. I believe they will look great on these TVs! 🙂
I really like CNETs videos, always informative and with friendly faces like Iyaz 😊
This was a really good video but I missed info on picture frequency. I guess that’s an important aspect considering picture quality?
Most modern movie content is encoded/filmed in 2 k and upconverted. There is not much point in 4 k unless your using your TV as a fancy photo album.
Did he never mention burn in? I have a 4 year old oled and that thing is messed up, unless oled technology has gotten better at reducing burn in I’ll be buying a mini led tv next time.
I used to have the same samsung thick tv earlier
The panel in the LG G1 isn’t unique to G1. It is also in SONY A90Js, which has arguably better picture quality, and has much better sound quality.
Whats about LG B1 ?
There is nothing to know. He should not buy FHD TV, you should buy minimum of 4K TV. OLED is ully preferrable.
Is 4k bad for your eyes?
Panasonic is impeccable
I wish he would’ve mentioned the best 4K TV under $1k
Sony models ?
4k garbage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
4K TVs are a complete joke. Who needs that many pixels crammed onto a screen? It’s just a stupid gimmick that’s completely pointless. Who needs to see every little bit of detail and sharp image? I mean, come on. You don’t need to spend thousands of dollars on a TV just so you can see the wrinkles on some actor’s face a little clearer. It’s ridiculous. Give me my old-school CRT and a 1080p TV any day of the week. Those 4K TVs are just a waste of time and money.
